“As an elementary school teacher, I am always on the lookout for picture books that will hold my students’ attention. I was initially drawn to this book because of its bright colors and fun illustrations (the artist does an excellent job capturing the personalities of the various dogs.) However, upon reading the book, I found it had the extra bonus of containing a very good lesson on diversity.
