I always had vivid dreams and quite an imagination. Just ask my mom. Combine that  with ideas and inspiration, and you have the makings of a story.

I’ve had a number of stories mulling around in my head over the years. Once I became a grandma, I felt if I disciplined myself and wrote them down, worked and reworked them to perfection, I could share a hard copy piece of my mind with my family and the world.  The process of letting the stories sit and rise had been done. It was time. So I wrote . . . and I write. Do you think I waited long enough? Well you know what they say . . . better late than never.

A Pack And A Cat is loosely based on a true story. Every evening, the dog community from my building would walk their dogs in the park across the street. When my son adopted a bold cat from a Boston animal shelter and took him to hang out with the dog crowd, A Pack And A Cat took form. The mulling process had begun. Years of sitting on the bench with the dogs and the cat allowed A Pack And A Cat to sit and rise. The story was done.

As a mom of 3 and a grandmother of 5, I have read many stories over the years to my family.
When you read A Pack And A Cat to your young one, watch the imagination sparks fly!
